I Heart Faces – Beach Fun! ~ Tampa Child Photographer
by Lori on Aug.24, 2010, under Little Ones, Personal, Photography

It’s all about Beach Fun this week over at I Heart Faces! There’s something magical about the beach. Can’t quite explain it but I just feel so small…. in a good way. Time seems to stand still for the moment and stress seems unable to reach you. I love it and so do my littles!
This image speaks to my heart in so many ways! My oldest two running around the beach without a care in the world (and oblivious that mom was snapping away)!

Be sure to check out all of the awesome beach images over at I Heart Faces!
Introducing Baby Asher William ~ Tampa Newborn Photographer
by Lori on Aug.05, 2010, under Bellies and Babies, Newborns
Asher William arrived on Wednesday July 21st at 1:55pm. He weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 19″ long. I can’t believe two weeks have passed already!! He is as sweet as can be. Big sister goes back and forth between loving on him and trying to poke him in the head or eye and big brother tries his best to protect him from the evil big sister. Sean and I are trying to adjust to life with three kids, which is a LOT easier with my mom here! I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do when she leaves.
Quick schedule update……I have a few slots left for Sept, Oct and Nov. I won’t be taking sessions in December. If you are wanting to book a holiday session now is the time! I had to turn people away last year and I hated it! Also, I will be holding at least one holiday mini session. If you’d like to be put on a waiting list for a time slot e-mail me at loriboynton@yahoo.com.
Okay on to my new little man…..here he is at just a few minutes old!
Tiny footprints

Sweet baby wrinkles

Sorry for the image overload but I couldn’t narrow down:)

My photographer friend Laurel came over and took some amazing shots of Baby Asher too! Click here to see them!
Dynamite in a Small Package ~ Tampa Children’s Photographer
by Lori on Jul.18, 2010, under Bellies and Babies, Little Ones, Personal
My little firecracker. Headstrong and stubborn but a heart of gold. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t do something crazy that literally makes me laugh out loud. Most recently she exited a friend’s bathroom completely soaked in blue water, yes, she had decided to give herself a bath in the toilet. Apparently this is called a swirly:) I guess I could get mad or freak out but honestly I’m usually too busy laughing. I can already see this amazing little personality taking shape and I want to guide her in the right direction and teach her right from wrong all while encouraging her to be herself. Yeah, this parenting thing, not so easy.
Just an update on scheduling: I am officially on baby time off!! My little man is arriving this Wednesday unless he decides to come earlier. I am not taking on any sessions during August but will be back in full swing for September. I have already started booking September and October and will only be taking a limited number of sessions each month. If you are wanting holiday portraits please don’t wait to book! Check the blog frequently for pictures of our new lil’ guy, Holiday Mini Session release dates, and something new and exciting that I’ll be working on!!
Ok, on to my girl! Oh and just for the record, my handsome firstborn is in TX with my parents for the Summer and will be getting back on Monday! I’m sure he’s incredibly disappointed that he missed so many photo ops, yeah right! ![]()

Chubalicious and His Adorable Big Sister ~ Tampa Baby Photographer
by Lori on Jul.14, 2010, under Bellies and Babies, Little Ones
One of the greatest joys of my “job” is getting to see my tiny clients grow! I had the pleasure of taking little Hudson’s newborn portraits when he was just a tiny thing! Here he is at almost 6 months and well tiny he is not:) I decided the perfect nickname for him was chubalicious! I could not get over how much he’d grown and how stinkin’ cute he was! And Miss Bryleigh, aside from being beautiful, is the true entertainer of the family! She had me cracking up, so much personality!
This was my last session before maternity leave and it was the perfect session to end on! I had such a hard time picking which ones to blog! Mom, thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful children again! I hope you love the sneak peek and I will have your gallery ready shortly! xoxo Lori
Serious cuteness ahead!!

Sweet Baby Ben ~ Tampa Newborn Photographer
by Lori on Jul.08, 2010, under Bellies and Babies, Newborns
Warning: If you are prone to baby fever proceed with caution! Here’s baby Ben at just 6 days new! He was so tiny and sweet I just wanted to take him home! Mom and I have shared in the “joys” of pregnancy since the beginning and I can’t tell you how nice it’s been to have someone else going through the same things at the same time! And now our boys will only be three weeks apart, how cool is that?! Erin, I hope you love the sneak peek! I’m almost done with the rest but wanted to get some up for you to see! He’s absolutely perfect and I am so happy for you and your family! xoxo, Lori

It’s a Beautiful Life ~ Tampa Family Photographer
by Lori on Jul.07, 2010, under Families
I’m going to go ahead and write this session down as the craziest session I’ve done so far! Why, you ask? Well for starters, it was pouring down rain at the spot we had chosen so this brave family hopped in their car and followed us as we drove away from the rain trying to find a spot. We knew wherever we chose we didn’t have long and this was the LAST possible day to do this session until December. The pressure was on:) We were literally “chasing the light”, which is pretty funny now but I think I may have been a tad stressed at the time! We were surrounded by rain and I knew if we didn’t pul over quick we would miss the chance so we pulled over under an overpass! Everyone jumped out of the car and I starting shooting as fast as I could. I think we had about 20 minutes until the flood gates opened on us. Oh and did I mention crazy scary lightning?! Luckily, this beautiful family are also very dear friends of ours so they trusted us, laughed along with us and we got the one shot that mom most wanted to get! Thank you H family for being brave enough to follow us, for being relaxed enough to laugh at the absurdity of it all and most importantly, for your friendship, we love you guys!
Here’s the shot! Must give props to my husband for acting like a fool behind me in order to get both little ones looking and smiling at the same time! Anyone who does family photography knows this is no easy task:)

You’re a Superstar, That is What You Are! ~ Tampa Baby Photographer
by Lori on Jul.05, 2010, under Bellies and Babies, Little Ones
Meet the adorable Miss Charleigh! She was a superstar for sure! It was raining when we started so we had to stay covered but Charleigh didn’t mind! She had herself a good time and remained happy through three outfit changes and some crazy scary lightning!
I don’t know how I get so lucky but I swear I get the most adorable little ones in front of my lens!!

Daddy’s Hands ~ Tampa Newborn Photographer
by Lori on Jul.02, 2010, under Bellies and Babies
Growing up in Texas it was pretty much a given that I would be a country music fan. Fast forward a few (ok more than a few) years and I still love a good country song! One of my all time favorites is a song called Daddy’s Hands by Holly Dunn. It’s an awesome song and it always makes me think of my own daddy:) Even though I’m all grown up (well sorta), I still feel safe when I’m around my daddy. When I snapped this first image I just knew, I knew I had an image that would mean something to Baby Ava for many, many years to come! If this was the only image I’d gotten my heart would have been happy!
Baby Ava, safe in Daddy’s hands…..
But baby Ava was way too cute to stop at just one image:)

Daddy’s hands are going to be quite busy fighting the boys away from these three beauties and mom is gorgeous too!
Heidi, it has been such a pleasure getting to know you and your family. I am sad that you are leaving but so happy that you guys are getting to start a new adventure! I know we will meet again! I hope you love this sneak peek and I will have the gallery ready soon! xoxo, Lori
